•   What is the Spain’s New Year El Niño?

  It basically does what it says on the tin. ‘The Little One’ uses the same draw format as El Gordo (‘The Big One’). Drawn every year on January 6th, New Year El Niño marks the last day of the holiday season before Spaniards return to work, so it’s always hugely popular as people hope for a financial boost to their New Year.

•   How does it work?

  Every Book for the Spain’s New Year El Niño is divided into 10 Tickets and any winnings are divided equally between the 10 Tickets. You can buy an entire Book of 10 Tickets for yourself or buy individual Tickets. Remember, the more Tickets you buy, the more you can win!

•   What does it pay?

  The guaranteed prize pool is €700 million and the main jackpot prize are an amazing €2 million. The second tier pays out a prize of €750,000 and even the lowest prize level is an impressive €1,000.
